Goal: The lab shows participants how to extract and isolate hybrid DNA in a non-scientific context with household materials. The net effect is meant to aid in public understanding of DNA as just another material of the life world. Intentional steps are taken to gain access to the unnamable and to inspire public risk benefit analysis debate on artistic DNA insertion into the life world.
